Step 1:  What is GumboNet?

GumboNetTM is a massively interconnected industrial blockchain network of companies, customers, suppliers, and vendors that integrates specific transactional data with automated smart contracts powered by blockchain technology.

Step 2:  Blockchain 101

Gain a foundational understanding of blockchain technology and how Data Gumbo is leveraging blockchain to help companies boost transactional efficiencies.

Step 3:  Smart Contracts 101

Smart contracts powered by blockchain technology provide an innovative approach to streamline operations, improve visibility and transparency with accurate and current data, and empower counterparties to reduce inefficiencies and capture significant cost savings across the built environment.

Step 4:  Can Smart Contracts be legally binding contracts?

This White Paper assumes the reader will be broadly familiar with smart contracts and distributed ledger technologies. It accordingly provides only a high-level summary of both (including permissioned and permissionless systems), before moving on to consider the spectrum of possibilities of what a smart contract could constitute. It then considers whether a smart contract can constitute a legally binding contract under the law of a number of key contracting jurisdictions. Finally, it offers up some observations about the practicalities of enforceability and provides some suggestions for dispute resolution within a smart contract context.

Step 5:  User Management

Admin Users have access to User Administration in GumboNet to view, monitor, and manage users.

  • Types of Users and Permissions
  • User Administration
  • Filter Users
  • Create New User
  • Edit User
  • Suspend/Enable User

Step 6:  Entity Management

Admin Users have access to their Entity Hierarchy in GumboNet to view, monitor and manage entities.

  • Entity Hierarchy Table View
  • Entity HierarchyTree View
  • Create an Entity
  • Edit an Entity
  • Add or Edit Addresses for an Entity

Step 7:  Asset Management

Admin Users have access to their Asset Management in GumboNet to view, monitor, and manage assets.

  • Asset Table
  • Create an Asset
  • Edit an Asset
  • Create Relationships between Assets
  • Edit Relationships between Assets

Step 8:  Data Acquisition

This module will address the following:

  • The Importance of Data Acquisition
  • Data Acquisition Methods
  • Benefits and Risks of Each Method
  • Barriers of Data Acquisition

Step 9:  Digital Ledgers

Blockchain is an incorruptible digital ledger of transactions that can be programmed to record not just financial transactions, but virtually everything of value.

GumboNet Users have access to create, view, monitor and manage ledgers.

  • What is a Ledger?
  • What is a Node?
  • Life Cycle of a Ledger
  • How to Create a Ledger in GumboNet

Step 10:  Blocks and Dispute Resolution

A block is the building element of a blockchain. In general, it is a transaction with backing information, and each block is a digital page in a larger collection, called a ledger. A ledger is a digital transactional, record-keeping system.

GumboNet Users have access to view, monitor and manage blocks.

  • What is a Block?
  • Download Blocks
  • Dispute Resolutions

Step 11:  GumboNet and KPI Dashboards

The GumboNet and KPI Dashboards are used to visually understand transaction summary data for better business insights and to inform decisions. The Dashboards provide an executive-level blockchain transaction summary to easily view real-time revenue, expenses, and disputes across deployed smart contracts.

Step 12:  GumboConnect

GumboConnect allows a company to view its network connections, connection requests, invitations, and those outside of its network. Once companies are connected, the parties can enter a smart contract seamlessly.
